On behalf of members in Wales without online access, TFA Cymru has been raising concerns about their ability to access the new Sustainable Farming Scheme (SFS), currently open for applications and closing next month.

Rural Payments Wales (RPW) has advised that any farmers who require help can arrange a digital assistance appointment by contacting the RPW customer contact centre on 0300 062 5004, where RPW staff will assess the support needed and arrange an appropriate appointment at an RPW Regional Office.

Where additional help is required, RPW has advised that digital and wider scheme support is available through Farming Connect, by contacting the Farming Connect Service Centre on 03456 000 813.  In particular, Farming Connect can assist with the following:

•             Using digital systems linked to SFS and RPW Online

•             Understanding SFS requirements and evidence expectations

•             Accessing online guidance, e-learning and CPD records

•             General business and scheme-related queries, including digital upskilling
