On 16 May, the TFA joined with other organisations in writing to the Chancellor of the Exchequer to call for greater openness in the economic analysis carried out by the Treasury on its changes to Inheritance Tax (IHT), and on the proposals submitted by others to finesse the policy to ensure that it achieves its stated aims without unduly damaging the farming industry.  To read the letter to the Chancellor, please click on this link:
