Event Date Change | Due to the Minister attending a parliamentary adjournment debate on the evening of Wednesday 15th evening, this webinar will now be held on Tuesday 14 April.
Rearranged Event Details:
Join us on Tuesday 14 April at 7pm when we invite Dame Angela Eagle DBE MP to discuss what future farm policy looks like.
Why attend:
TFA members have a fantastic opportunity to hear directly from and ask questions to the Farming Minister, Dame Angela Eagle DBE MP who has accepted an invitation from the TFA to take part in one of our evening webinars. Dame Angela was appointed to her Ministerial role in DEFRA by the Prime Minister in September 2025. Considered to be an important voice within the Parliamentary Labour Party, this is an opportune time for TFA members to hear first-hand what her thoughts are about food and farming and how she intends to support the ongoing resilience and sustainability of UK agriculture and, in particular, the tenanted sector for which she has specific responsibility. Dame Angela attends regular meetings of the farm tenancy forum and has already engaged with the TFA team on numerous occasions but this is her opportunity to hear directly from you.
TFA Chief Executive, George Dunn, said: “We are truly grateful to Dame Angela for sparing time out of her busy schedule to be with us on Tuesday 14 April and I am sure that there are many questions that TFA members would like to ask her. This will be a very popular event so don’t delay in registering your attendance and in forwarding any questions that you would like raised on the night.”
Sponsored by Roythornes Solicitors, this free to attend event will be held virtually via Zoom. It will start at 7pm promptly and last for an hour. Attendees will have a chance to pitch questions to our guest speaker during a Q&A session.
Advance registration is essential, so that you don’t miss any of the event.
