Taking place on Wednesday 20 May at 7pm, the session welcomes newly appointed TFA Recommended Solicitor, Harry Russell of Roythornes, who brings with him a wealth of first-hand experience in farm partnership disputes, including the settlement of a family farming partnership case involving assets in the region of £70 million, following protracted litigation in both the High Court and arbitration. Few speakers would have a more compelling illustration of just how much can be at stake.

Many farming operations involve some form of partnership arrangement, often between family members, and ranging from informal understandings to fully documented agreements. Whatever the setup, all are governed by the Partnership Act 1890 and all carry the potential for costly disputes. Harry will guide attendees through what can go wrong, how a written agreement can help anticipate problems and the particular complications that arise when a partnership operates within an agricultural tenancy.

The session will last one hour and includes a live Q&A, giving attendees the chance to put their questions directly to Harry. It will be a fast-paced evening with a great deal of ground to cover.
