The Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) is being relaunched in Summer 2026. Farmers and landowners whose holdings are between 3 hectares and 50 hectares will be eligible to apply in the June window, as well as those who are not in a current agri-environmental agreement, funded through the Environmental Land Management Scheme (ELMS).
While the scheme will continue to evolve, the fundamentals of preparing a strong, low-stress application remain the same.
