TFA Cymru has submitted its assessment of the Welsh BVD Eradication Scheme to the Welsh Government, welcoming the ambition behind the industry-led initiative to eliminate Bovine Viral Diarrhoea (BVD) from Wales. While supportive of the scheme’s overarching goals, TFA Cymru is calling for additional measures—outlined in its detailed assessment—to accelerate progress and ensure complete eradication of BVD from Welsh cattle herds.
