The House of Commons Environment Food and Rural Affairs (EFRA) Select Committee has announced a long-running Inquiry into the future of farming and earmarked its first oral evidence session as part of the Inquiry to look at the recent announcements around Inheritance Tax made by the Chancellor of the Exchequer within her Budget statement on 30 October 2024. On 11 December 2024, the TFA’s National Chair, Robert Martin, appeared for the TFA in that evidence session alongside the presidents of the NFU and CLA.
