The Tenant Farmers Association (TFA) is a company limited by guarantee and operates as a membership organisation. The objectives of the TFA, as defined in its Memorandum of Association, include the provision of advice, information and support to the tenanted sector of agriculture and the promotion of the landlord and tenant system in agriculture. The TFA is committed to ensuring that in the furtherance of its aims, the provision of its services and its employment of staff or use of volunteers that it does not discriminate on the basis of gender, colour, race, nationality, ethnicity, religion, philosophical or political belief, sexual orientation, marital status, age, caring responsibility or disability. All employees, members, volunteers, are entitled to be treated fairly, with dignity, with respect and without discrimination in respect of the attributes highlighted above. The TFA regards intolerance, threatening behaviour and abusive or offensive language as unacceptable. In working with other organisations, individuals or affiliates, the TFA will expect a commitment to the same equality of treatment.
